test dog PawWord Story
“Hey Dad, it’s Rebel here. Just another day filled with barks and frisbee in the cosmos that is Spencerville. Time keeps spinning but cucumber – still unpalatable. Beef brisket and the silence of Woodsy Park are still reigning champs of cheer though. Also, did split some beach fun with Marmalade. More tales for another day, till then, keep the tail wagging! 🐾- Rebel the Rovin’ Rottweiler”
“Here I am, Rebel, your robust Rottweiler with a gloss akin to the night. Commencing my day with a purr, or rather a low gruff bark, meant to be endearing but more often than not, interpreted as an attempt to growl down the sunrise. So, rise and shine, or don’t, it’s all relative in Spencerville.
You see, in Spencerville, it’s not just the tail wagging the dog – it’s the whole pet-transcendent universe wagging in harmonic cosmos. Canine, feline, avian or swine, we’re all spun in the same loop, twirling through time like a Frisbee in the cosmos. My dear friend Percy, an eccentric parrot, once told me, “Time is not a line, but a vast and endless circle.” Or maybe it was, “Pass the seed cracker,” I could never quite get his squawking straight.
Oh, let me take you to some of the hotspots today. First stop: Maltese Meadow, green and crisp as a freshly sliced cucumber. Oh, cucumbers, a tale as tragic as a cat at a dog show. Cucumbers are the only ‘vegetable’ I can’t stomach, literally and figuratively. A word of advice, never offer a dog a cucumber – it’s as welcome as a mailman at the doghouse.
But beef brisket from Pup-Tizers, that’s a whole different story. Mr. Porky, our neighborhood butcher moonlighting as a local celebrity chef, cooks it up perfectly every time. His brisket is the Casablanca of canine cuisine, a timeless delicacy irresistible through the epochs.
From there it’s just a short jaunt over to my favorite Woodsy Park. You’ve never heard serenity until you’ve heard the silence of an ancient forest, the stillness of space broken only by the chirping of prehistoric crickets. I find myself amid its whispering leaves and centuries-old trails, watching time herself breathe.
Marmalade, my beagle half-sister, loves Beagle Beach best. The sand in her fur, the wind in her ears, she’s living her third canine life as a sea dog. We share a bond that spans time and dimensions. We’re like two sides of the same Frisbee, spinning wildly through the ages, waiting to be caught and brought home to that vast dog bowl in the sky.
You know, it’s an interesting thing, living in Spencerville. Time-traveling pets, perpetual sunbeams, unlimited treats from Bark ‘n’ Roll, a town where one day we’ll reunite with our owners. Age, loss, the passing of time, it’s all… relative. For us, we’re always loyal, always sheltered, always ready for another day, another era, another adventure. Every day is a gift – or should I say, a present – wrapped up neatly in this ever-spinning cosmic Frisbee we call time.
So, that’s me, Rebel the Rottweiler. Whether it’s my gypsy soul or my cosmic curse, I make the best of everything. But hey, time’s a crazy thing. One moment it’s here, another it’s gobbled up in the mouth of a robust Rottweiler named Rebel. It beats chasing my tail, right?”
The End.
