You won’t believe what YOUR girl Soph, Russ, and Lil Dot got into today! There we were, beach day, marigolds, the works. Then – odd alert – a tomato rolled up! Gave Soph quite the startle. Chasing it led us to South Siberian Summit, I kid you not.

Here’s where it gets weirder – delivery guy hiding behind a tree, right on the summit! Soph, doing her best Sherlock, lunged at him. Guy nearly tumbled down the hill!

So our beach day turned into Bulldog Investigators: Tomato Caper Edition! Just another Spencerville day for our wild little pack. Can’t wait to share the Canine Cafe visit tale, don’t let me forget.

Sophie Girl on high alert 24/7!

You think you know Sophie, right? Sweet, nosy Sophie who loves flowers more than her stuffed duck. I saw her today, right by Brown Boxer Beach, with her cute nose buried in a patch of vibrant marigolds. Mind you, she was there, easing into a day of sunshine and beach fun with Fat Russell and Lil Dot in tow. Russell, unsurprisingly, was already lazing about, eyeing the K9 Kebabs nearby. Lil Dot, on the other hand, was indulging in some morning play with a passing podengo.

Suddenly, you know those Spencerville days when something strange just happens? Yeah, it was one of those. A tomato rolled out from the adjacent Pup-Tastic Pizza and right into our sight. Sophie, living up to her reputation, recoiled from the frightful bright red fruit.

What’s odd, however, was that the tomato took a minute, then started bouncing towards the south end of the beach. Sophie, Fat Russell, and Lil Dot, the bulldog trio, curiously followed. Even Russell, rousing himself from imminent parlor dreams, joined the chase. They followed it right up to South Siberian Summit. Now, I tell you, that’s a place as thrilling as a dog’s tail wag can get.

What happened upon reaching the summit, you ask? Well, Sophie, ever so brave, decided to take the investigation into her own paws. Noticing a delivery guy indiscreetly watching from behind a pine, Sophie growled. Such villainy! Plotting to trick us with tomatoes! Sophie, our white wonder launched herself at the intruder, terrifying him so much that he stumbled over and rolled down the hill.

That, my friends, was the uncanny Spencerville mystery of the rolling tomato solved by our Episodic Bulldog Investigators Sophie, Fat Russel, and Lil Dot. As they descended the summit, I saw the glow of pride on their snouts. Surely, another trip to the Canine Cafe was in order. But that’s a story for another day. Remind me to tell you about that one next time!
